People used to describe Singapore as one of the most boring countries in the world. Ever since the opening of the Sands hotel, Singapore's reputation may start to change. One thing may not have changed is that you may only need to go to Singapore for a few days.

I actually like Singapore. Compared to HK, people speak better English, they are nicer and it really is a good place to spend a weekend. I went there for New Year of 2012 and I found it very interesting.

The second time I went to Singapore I have tried their well-known food, such as Spicy Crab, Chicken Rice, Laksa, etc.
I also did the Ultimate Drive Experience and drove a Ferrari 430 Spyder!

Last but not least, the Legoland just across the border on the Malaysian side was something you can do if you really like Lego.

Clarke Quay is like the LKF of Singapore but a bit bigger. However, if you are tried of seeing more and more expats again then you may head over to the Arabs district not far away from Raffles Hotel. This is a more chilling and quiet bar area.

You may like to note though, since 2015 Singapore has an alcohol selling ban from stores and supermarkets every night after 10 pm; and the open-container rule.  You can only get alcohol from bars or restaurants at night.
